Sedona Golf Resort, Sedona. Gary Panks, 1988.
This is a pretty ideal resort course in a beautiful location. It’s relatively short, especially at this elevation, but this is a fun course that shouldn’t beat you up while you marvel at the scenery.
The 10th is a par 3 with crazy views, though it’s not much of a hole, but there’s a dry creek that snakes its way through several holes on the back and a few ponds. The best stretch is probably 15-17, but the 18th is a unique finisher as a potentially driveable short par 4 with all kinds of sand and water trouble down the left side and the clubhouse crowd just behind the green.
