Seven Canyons GC, Sedona. Tom Weiskopf, 2002.

A tightly bunched course in a grand location. This course feels a little incongruous because the holes are squeezed together and play down narrow chutes of trees, but the surrounding views and scale of the rock formations makes you feel like the course should be similarly broad. There’s a nice run of holes here from 11-15, but these too would be better with a little more shoulder room. Still, even in Sedona, the chance to play golf in a setting like this just doesn’t come around often. I’d jump at the chance to go back.
