Twilight, Denver. Designer Unknown, Year Unknown. NLE
This was a 9-hole executive course at the corner of Leetsdale and Quebec. The only noteworthy thing about it I can recall was that a few holes were lighted for night play, though I never got to enjoy that experience. Even in the earliest years of my playing career, this course was very much on the downswing—it was the kind of place where you got lots of work on your iron game because you couldn’t hit woods on account of the ground being too hard to get a tee in. And in very short order the ground was even harder—it was the parking lot of a strip mall.
