I remember this as a simple course made much better by being on a really nice piece of land with good long views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The front nine is pretty flat but there are a few bunkers and small ponds that keep things interesting along with the small greens.
The back nine makes the course, though, as it opens up into hills and a run of holes that play up over and around them, including several that tempt you to challenge blind doglegs over the corner of hillsides.
