Eisenhower GC. Silver Course by Frank Hummel, 1977.
The younger Air Force Academy course, shorter and sportier, this course goes up higher on the mountain and has some more up and down, whereas the Blue Course plays generally over a long slope. Like the Blue, however, the Silver is still quite walkable.
There are some good holes, like the short sixth, with a pond complicating your decision, and especially the twisting 12th—the rare 460-yard par 5 that, due to its double dogleg, plus trees and hills, is extraordinarily hard to reach. Not the main attraction between the two courses at the Academy, but I’m sure those who play there a lot enjoy it as a change of pace.
