Links at Continental Ranch

The Links at Continental Ranch, Tucson. Brian Huntley, 1997. Mostly no longer exists

When I was in college, this was a course on a barren piece of desert next to the interstate that was trying to pass itself off as a links. Most of that course is gone now. They put up homes on a lot of it and built a bunch of new holes in a quarry to the west of where the old course sat (at last check it was known as Quarry Pines). Sad to say, they kept some of the worst holes from the old course, including an arrow straight par 5 where almost any hook could end up on I-10.
