One of the rare modern courses that completely eschews the desert—instead they went for a sort of sandhills look here with lots of pines trees and bunkers. For an entirely created course with virtually no housing component, there’s a surprising lack of interesting holes here. But the Raven courses made their reputation on service—that country club for a day feeling with the marshals handing out chilled mango-scented towels—so maybe they figured that was enough of a draw.
