There’s nothing particularly different here within the context of desert golf, but generally the course fits the terrain well and the corridors are wide enough that while you might put a few balls in the desert, you don’t worry so much about putting them in someone’s backyard pool. The back nine is especially strong, though I found the 16th hole–the first of consecutive par 5s–a bit awkward. The course finishes strong though with the reachable 17th and a good finisher. But when your neighbors are Mirabel and Whisper Rock, you’re always going to be looking up.
