Kokopelli GC, Gilbert. Bill Phillips, 1992.
A pretty typical residential course of this time period, this is one of those courses with lots of artificial mounding and low areas off the fairways, but all the fairways and greens are flat. There’s some decent use of doglegs and angles, which is more than a lot of courses can claim, but I played here on a hot summer afternoon when I had the course to myself and I played at my own pace. If I was stuck here for 4+ hours on a busy weekend, with nothing but this course and the surrounding homes and business to look at, I’d find it a lot harder to be charitable.
