A pleasant change from most retirement community courses in that this is a core course, where houses only exist at the edges of the property and the course is unto itself. But the holes themselves are generally no more strategic than anything else in this area. I do remember a wild green at the 4^th, with six feet or more of elevation change from back to front, which isn’t something you see every day. On the other hand, I remember two downhill par 3s with a lake immediately behind the green, which is unusual once and downright odd a second time.
