My major memory of this course is the massive containment mounding, which makes the course more forgiving than many desert layouts but also creates a seemingly endless series of humps pushing in from the sides of every hole. The front nine mostly plays down into a valley then back up, but the back nine plays up and around a large hill making for better views but tougher holes.
